Bhakti Yoga-The Path of Devotion
Program Description
Bhakti Yoga-The Path of Devotion
The world needs heart, maybe more than ever. Bhakti Yoga teaches the art and science of reconnecting to our spiritual heart. The intellect is necessary for highlighting distinction and divisions; it needs to be balanced with the heart, which highlights connection and non-separateness. No matter what religious or spiritual tradition you follow, Bhakti will make the journey sweeter, more enjoyable, and swifter. If practiced with sincerity, it can melt even the hardest and most stubborn ego.
In this workshop Swami Asokananda will present a slideshow exploring how to:
- Form a relationship with the Divine (Ishta Devata)
- Develop our faith (sraddha) and surrender (Ishwara Pranadana)
- Use of the Divine Names (mantras) to elevate our consciousness
- Expand our love and express that love through service
