Rev. Bhagavan Metro started his spiritual quest 2 days before Christmas in 1969 when he and his wife, Rev. Bhavani Metro,sat in meditation with Eknath Easwaran in Satsang in Berkley, California. He met his Satguru. Sri Swami Satchidananda in the Spring of 1973 in Denver, Colorado. There he learned and taught all aspects of Integral Yoga. He and Bhavani moved to Yogaville East in Pomfret Center, Connecticut, with their 5 children in 1979. They were ordained as Integral Yoga Ministers by Sri Swami Satchidananda on Guru Poornima 1980.
