Integral Yoga encourages practitioners to guide their awareness within, yet reaching that level of depth in hatha practice requires establishing a balance of sthira and sukha that sometimes remains elusive in challenging poses. There may be times when verbal cues and visual demonstration fall short of conveying the information we are asking our students to assimilate into their practice.

Inspired by the Integral Yoga understanding that truth can be approached through many paths, this workshop will explore connections between the Pancha Maya Kosha from yogic philosophy and the Five Element framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The session will include a short lecture, meridian-inspired stretching, and a guided Yoga Nidra practice through the five koshas.
