Community Movie Night
Program Description
Community Movie Night
Join us for a joyful evening of community, laughter, and reflection at our next Community Movie Night on Saturday, July 19, from 6:30–9:30 PM.
After our previous deep dive into The Matrix, we’re lightening the mood with the heartwarming and high-spirited film The School of Rock. While on the surface it’s a comedy about music and misfits, at its core, this film beautifully echoes Yogic themes of authenticity, purpose, and the liberating power of creative expression.
As Roger Ebert wrote, “It’s not only a funny and clever film, but it has a good heart, and delivers a serious message wrapped in comedy: Don’t let the world silence your song.”
We’ll enjoy popcorn, drinks, and a short group reflection afterward.
