What is an Endowment?

Endowment is described in the American Heritage Dictionary as “Funds or property donated to an institution, individual, or group as a source of income.”
As a charitable gift, this means individual donors can make a gift to their favorite charities with the request that the principal remain intact and only the invested income from it be used to support the charity’s ongoing programs.
And when we look at this for each individual, it means that you as a donor can remain an important part of Integral Yoga Institute New York’s future. A gift made to Integral Yoga Institute New York’s Endowment fund today keeps on giving, because only the income – and not the principal supporting that income – is used.

Giving in Perpetuity

If what Integral Yoga Institute New York does is important to you now, it will continue to be so in the future. Your gifts to the Endowment fund offer you the opportunity to ensure the future of our service and spiritual support to peace seeking souls throughout the world.

The most satisfying part of making a gift to the Endowment fund: Long after you are no longer physically present, you will still be part of Integral Yoga Institute New York’s mission. Through your endowment gifts, you will continue to touch people’s lives, and you will be sharing Sri Swami Satchidananda’s mission with many peace-seeking souls for years to come.

Endowment Fund for
Integral Yoga Institute New York

It is our goal to establish an Endowment Fund for Integral Yoga Institute New York as soon as possible.  This will ensure the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda and Integral Yoga are readily available around the globe and help us to sustain and grow our ability to serve our worldwide community.
