Snow Shimazu, RYT500 is a New York State licensed & nationally certified massage therapist. A native Japanese, she earned a Master’s in Arts Management from American University in Washington, DC, and worked at the Smithsonian Institute as a graduate intern. After working as an art coordinator and interpreter, Snow finally found her own art – massage. Her gifted hands and highly specialized skills have won strong supporters from all over the world. This naturally led her to teach massage and consult for spas. Currently, Snow is a member of the core faculty at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences. With her specialty in pre- & post-surgery treatment for swelling and pain, as well as, conditions such as lymphedema and lipedema, her practice is expanding into more clinical settings.
