This workshop is a holistic experience designed to support individuals in recovery, those with loved ones in recovery, and mental health clinicians seeking practical tools to help their clients. This workshop combines gentle movement, mindful breathwork, and meditation to help participants reconnect with their bodies, manage stress, and cultivate joy. Grounded in recovery concepts from the 12 Steps, it emphasizes self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the development of healthy coping mechanisms. Participants will explore how yoga’s ancient wisdom aligns with modern recovery practices, fostering resilience and balance in daily life. Open to all levels, this workshop provides a safe, supportive space for reflection, community, and personal transformation while equipping clinicians with actionable practices their clients can integrate into their recovery journey.

As a student I began practicing Yoga at a variety of studios in New York City. I completed my 200hr YT training in Rishikesh, India with Patanjali International Yoga Foundation in 2017. Since then I have gone on to earn certifications in Trauma Informed Practice, Trauma Release, Yin, as well as two Meridian training’s with Science Self Yoga. Prior to teaching I worked as a clinical substance abuse counselor in New York City. All of these experiences have shaped my practice.
