Led by Linda Colon, E-RYT500, YACEP, MAT and Barbara Hansen, RYT, RM Discover the art of restoring balance and vitality to your life through the timeless wisdom of the 5 Points of Hatha Yoga. In this rejuvenating workshop, we’ll explore how proper exercise (asana), breathing (pranayama), relaxation, diet, and positive thinking come together to create a foundation for wellness.

Through guided practices, gentle movement, and mindfulness techniques, you’ll learn tools to release stress, recharge your energy, and foster a deeper connection to your body and mind. After a 20 year career in financial services as a stay at home mom, the study of yoga became fascinating. With a daily practice, I completed a certification to teach in 2002 and began offering yoga classes in Staten Island, NY for adults and girl scouts. In 2007 a colleague and I created a Yoga Alliance school, “Professional Teachers’ School of Yoga” designed to qualify NYCDOE Physical Education teachers to teach yoga in their schools.
