When Something Pushes Your Button…
Program Description
When Something Pushes Your Button…
In this class, based on Padman’s book of the same title, which was praised by Swami Asokananda (see below), you will learn and we will discuss what Swami Satchidanada called “the two most important psychological concepts for maintaining a peaceful mind.” One: Accepting that when something pushes your button it’s “always your past karma button,” and has nothing to do with who pushed it. Second: Finding a way – each our own way – to undo our past karma. This isn’t just another spiritual class about doing things like meditation, yoga, eating organically, etc. It’s about devotedly attempting to live everyday life as peacefully as possible . . . while acknowledging that difficulty.
Swami Asokandanda said about Padman’s book, When Something Pushes Your Button, “If you are looking for a deep-dive into the essence of the spiritual life, filled with humor and a good mix of Eastern and Western wisdom, written by someone who has walked his talk, this gem of a book is the one for you.”
**This is an online workshop. Participants will receive a PDF of the book’s primary teachings.**
