Deep Relaxation with Guided Breathing Practices: A 45-Minute Class Framework for Yoga Teachers

**This workshop is for certified IYI Teachers only**

In this workshop, you will learn how to guide students through a deeply restorative 45-minute class experience designed to help participants release stress, quiet the mind, and return to a state of ease. You will explore how to sequence gentle movement, pranayama, and guided meditation into a cohesive, time-conscious class arc. Special attention will be given to pacing, language, and the art of holding space. There will be a powerpoint presentation discussing class fundamentals and theory followed by a full practice. The workshop will conclude with time for questions and conversation.

This is a virtual workshop, taking place online.
Registration is free for Integral Yoga Active teachers and $54 for Inactive Teachers.

Instructors

Sunaya, a longtime practitioner of Yoga and meditation, is certified to teach Level I Integral Yoga classes. In addition, he is a licensed physical therapist and health care administrator who has worked in the health care industry for many years. He is particularly interested in Yoga as a vehicle for self-knowledge, healing, and inner balance. He is a certified Yoga for Arthritis teacher and has completed the Yoga Therapy in Cancer and Chronic Illness (YCAT) Level 1 training, training in Therapeutic Yoga, and the Therapeutic Applications of Integral Yoga training.
