An inspirational Gentle Yoga class combined with a sound bath, pranayama, mantra, and meditation will give your body and mind an opportunity to relax, heal, and energize. Tibetan singing bowls will accompany the practice and tuning forks will be used close to and directly on your body to enhance the parasympathetic nervous system and to soften the joints. Rev. Laksmi Scalise, RYT 500, IYM, began a Yoga practice more than 40 years ago. She is involved with the healing arts as a sound healer, gong master, Reiki master, dowser, and astrologer. Laksmi studies under and assists Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. She is a chakra-balancing practitioner at the Integral Yoga Wellness Spa.
Amba focuses on helping people of all ages to establish a regular practice at home; she also teaches group classes. She is certified to teach Integral Yoga Level I, Gentle Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Yoga for Teens and has additional trainings in Yoga for Trauma and Yoga of Sound and Voice. She serves people with arthritis, combining Integral Gentle Yoga with sound healing.
