TRE (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) Daylong Workshop: Shake Off Physical and Emotional Pain with Maria Alfaro, E-RYT

The reported benefits of TRE include the healing of symptoms of sciatica and fibromyalgia, the release of deep chronic tension and anxiety, better sleep, an increase in overall energy and stamina, a loosening of unconscious muscle contraction, improved circulation and flexibility, and relief from chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain.
TRE was developed by Dr. David Berceli, a bio-energetic therapist and social worker, who used it successfully worldwide working with soldiers, firefighters, police officers, and survivors of war, natural disasters, and other traumatic circumstances to help alleviate the many symptoms of post-traumatic stress. TRE is taught in more than 40 countries worldwide.
TRE is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. The exercises are simple, and they can be modified to accommodate any body’s need. In this daylong workshop, participants will learn about the neurology, anatomy, and physiology of stress and trauma and about the history and origin of TRE and how it helps release stress and contraction from the body. Also, by experiencing the tremor response twice, they will gain a solid foundation for continuing their practice at home.
