Neurogenic Yoga: Tremor to Release Trauma with Maria Alfaro, E-RYT
Sunday, November 12 • 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Neurogenic Yoga is a revolutionary new integrative technique in trauma healing and stress reduction that combines Yoga asana and pranayama with SITT (Self-Induced Therapeutic Tremors). Those tremors are a natural response of the body and are the nervous system’s way of discharging long-held tension or unconscious muscle contraction that is due to stress and traumatic experiences, in order to restore the body to wholeness. Based on Dr. David Berceli’s technique of Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises® (TRE®), which has been taught worldwide for decades, Neurogenic Yoga is reported to offer a range of physical and mental benefits, including better sleep, a reduction in pain, and relief for the symptoms of fibromyalgia and sciatica. Includes an active Yoga practice in the morning and a restorative practice in the afternoon. Questions? E-mail Maria at maria@NeurogenicYoga.com. Includes Yoga: All Levels
