Yoga for Arthritis and Chronic Pain Level III

Yoga for Arthritis Teacher Intensive

Yoga for Arthritis Level III – Certification Course

2020 dates to be announced soon!
Taught by Steffany Moonaz, Ph.D., RYT 500

The Yoga for Arthritis Certification Course (now Level III) is offered for teachers who have completed Yoga for Arthritis Level I and the Mentored Practicum (now Level II).

In this course, participants will learn about advancements in the field of Yoga research as it pertains to arthritis, as well as developments in the recommended management of arthritis. We will also expand on material covered in the Level I training and present emerging concepts and opportunities available for returning teachers. Participants will have an opportunity to learn from one another to hone their skills.

Successful completion leads to a three-year designation as a certified Yoga for Arthritis teacher. Yoga for Arthritis (YFA) is a member school of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and an Approved Professional Development (APD) Course provider. YFA programs count for IAYT Continuing Education and as modules and/or transfer credits for some 800-hour Yoga therapy programs. Please contact YFA or your Yoga therapy school with questions regarding YFA credit and its role in your current Yoga therapy training.
