Integral Yoga Therapy Mission Statement

Our Mission

Integral Yoga Therapy Services provide personalized guidance through the teachings and practices of Yoga to support individuals living with, or in recovery from, illness, injury, or adverse health conditions.

Through the broad therapeutic applications of Yoga, we strive to create a safe and supportive environment in which individuals are empowered to effect positive transformations in their overall experience of health and well-being. It is our goal to make these resources accessible to everyone seeking to progress toward improved function and vitality in body and mind through the timeless teachings of Yoga.

A holistic, client-centered approach to wellness

Integral Yoga Therapy Services provides customized private Yoga sessions to support our clients with challenges at every stage of life on their path toward inner peace and personal healing. Certified Yoga therapists use a combination of Yogic techniques to guide the client through an individualized practice that promotes wellness for body and mind. Sessions may include physical poses, breathing practices, meditation, guided relaxation, Yoga philosophy, and stress-reduction techniques, all adapted to suit the client’s condition and goals.

At Integral Yoga we take a holistic, client-centered approach. Your Yoga therapist will work with you to identify areas of imbalance and create a personalized practice that aims toward improved functioning and happiness on all levels of being.

Fully Certified Yoga Therapists

All our Yoga therapists are certified by the profession’s international governing organization, the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Every practitioner’s certification is in active status, with qualifications that meet the association’s stringent requirements for training and practical experience, including studies in anatomy and physiology, meditation and stress reduction, Yoga philosophy, and the safe adaptation of Yoga practices to particular health conditions and challenges.

Our Yoga therapists often work in hospitals and medical clinics, as well as collaborate with medical professionals in various fields. Many have chosen to specialize in particular areas, such as therapeutic approaches to cancer, heart disease, arthritis, chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, prenatal and postpartum complications, depression and anxiety, and PTSD, to name a few.
