SUMMARY:Yin Yoga and Tibetan Bowls: Resonate with Stillness
DESCRIPTION:Yin Yoga benefits connective tissue because postures are held\, creating stillness in the mind\, body\, and spirit. That stillness can allow vibrations\, energy\, and prana (life force) to resonate within. During this workshop the healing vibrations of the Tibetan singing bowls\, played by master sound healer Rev. Laksmi\, will allow you to explore the powerful effects of Yin Yoga\, taught by longtime teacher Kitty. Together we will create a space where the body\, mind\, and spirit are renewed and revitalized. \nThis is an in-person workshop\, taking place at the Integral Yoga Institute.\nIncludes Yoga: All Levels

SUMMARY:TRE® (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises)
DESCRIPTION:TRE is a simple\, gentle\, and profound technique that facilitates the lengthening and relaxation of the psoas muscle and the release of physical and emotional tension and stress. The TRE exercises mildly tire the legs\, triggering an involuntary shaking and trembling response\, which begins in the legs and often spreads throughout the body. This natural response is the nervous system’s way of discharging long-held tension and unconscious body contraction\, caused by everyday stress and traumatic life experiences\, in order to restore the body to wholeness. \nTRE was developed by Dr. David Berceli\, a bioenergetic therapist and social worker\, who used it successfully worldwide working with soldiers\, firefighters\, police officers and survivors of war\, natural disasters and other traumatic circumstances to help alleviate the many symptoms of post-traumatic stress. TRE is taught in over 60 countries worldwide. \nReported benefits of TRE® include:\n\ndecreasing anxiety\nreleasing chronic tension\ndischarging emotional and physical trauma\nincreasing energy and flexibility\nimproving sleep and mood\ndecreasing of aches\, pains and symptoms of fibromyalgia and sciatica\n\nThis workshop is suitable for all ages and fitness levels as the exercises can be modified to accommodate anybody’s need. \nFor more information about TRE please visit TREcalifornia.com. If you have any questions or concerns please contact maria@TREcalifornia.com. \nThis workshop takes place 11am–1pm Eastern (8–10am Pacific) \nThis is an online program.

SUMMARY:200-Hour Teacher Training\, Module 2: Yoga Teaching Essentials
DESCRIPTION:“Yoga” means “union” in the ancient Sanskrit language. It is a perfect description of the Integral Yoga method which synthesizes the various branches of Yoga into a comprehensive lifestyle system. The six branches of Integral Yoga (Hatha\, Raja\, Karma\, Bhakti\, Jnana\, and Japa) are powerful tools to encourage wellness and self-mastery. The aim is to promote the harmonious development of every aspect of the individual – the results are subtle\, profound\, and measurable. \nFor over 40 years\, Integral Yoga’s internationally respected training program has been continually developed and refined to meet the personal and professional Yogic needs of our participants. Rooted in ancient wisdom with a contemporary approach for modern times\, we provide a wide reaching foundation for trainees to develop their knowledge and personal practice of Yoga\, along with the essential skills for teaching. Graduates of our training program receive both a practical and a philosophical understanding of the full scope of Yoga teachings and practices\, and are well prepared to serve in guiding others along the Yogic path. \nModule 2: Yoga Teaching Essentials\nFor practitioners who have completed Module 1\, Module 2 covers the final 150 hours of credit for 200-Hour Teacher Training. This module provides experienced Yoga practitioners with the skills and knowledge to teach Hatha Yoga with confidence\, clarity and compassion. Participants study teaching methodology and learn how to lead Yoga classes in various settings\, both online and in-person\, and for diverse populations. Throughout the course\, trainees will be engaged in practice teaching sessions\, receiving personalized feedback and guidance from the trainers. Workshops in ethics and professional development will prepare trainees to establish themselves as professional Yoga instructors upon graduation. The final exam for certification is a teaching practicum\, leading a complete Integral Yoga class. \nTrainees will refine their knowledge of Yoga and develop essential teaching skills through the exploration of:\n\nAsana\, Pranayama\, Yoga Nidra and Meditation theory\nPractical applications of anatomy and physiology\nTeaching methodology\nClass structure and sequencing\nSafe and effective cueing\, assists and modifications\nSanskrit language for Yoga teachers\nEthics\, informed by study of Yama and Niyama\nSetting up your professional practice as a Yoga instructor\n\nAll textbooks and study materials will be provided at the beginning of the course. Students should plan to spend about 2-3 hours per week in self-study which includes reading\, reflective journaling\, and preparing for practice teaching sessions\, as well as 1-2 hours per week attending Hatha classes. \nEnrollment in this course includes free access to online and in-person classes through Integral Yoga Institute for the duration of the program. Access to class recordings and study materials will be available through the online learning portal for 12 months after graduation. \nUpon successful completion of both Modules 1 and 2\, graduates will receive the 200-Hour Integral Yoga Teacher Certificate\, and will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance for the RYT 200 designation. Graduates interested in teaching at IYI will have the option to continue developing their skills through a mentoring process with senior teachers\, and teaching opportunities through IYI will be available to those who excel during the program. \nTraining Schedule\nJUNE 24 – SEPTEMBER 27\, 2026 \nWednesdays • 6:30pm-8:30pm • All Online\nSaturdays • 9:45am-12:45pm • All Online\nSundays • 9:45am-4:45pm • Hybrid Online & In-Person \nSunday classes include 1-hour lunch break.\nNo classes July 4\, Sept. 5 & 6 for holidays.\nEastern Time US\, please check your time zone. \nThis is a hybrid training offering both online and in-person classes.
