Since the Integral Yoga Institute of New York opened on West 13th Street more than 50 years ago, kirtan has been a tradition. Recently we’ve hosted many well-known kirtan performers, among them:

David Newman (Durga Das), kirtan chant artist and sacred acoustic musician, an integral part of the spiritual or yogic music movement. 

Fantuzzi whose African-Caribbean roots create a combination of spiritually inspired mystic rhythms, Latin, reggae, funk, and heart songs.

Lee Mirabai Harrington with a background in classical Indian vocals, gospel, and sound healing.

Jai Uttal combines influences from India with American rock and jazz, to create a multi-cultural fusion that is truly world spirit music.
