Victoria Moran has been writing for publication since her teenage years, starting with teen magazines and later contributing to health food, vegetarian, and spiritual journals. She is the author of 14 books on well-being, spirituality, and vegan living, including her upcoming title, Age Like a Yogi, set to be released in January 2025 and currently available for preorder. Victoria has been recognized by VegNews magazine as one of the Top 10 Living Vegetarian Authors and has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show twice, which she describes as a pivotal moment in her writing career. In 2024, she was honored with induction into the Vegan Hall of Fame for her lifelong advocacy. A professional speaker since the mid-1990s, Victoria has a deep love for sharing knowledge through talks and workshops.
Following the success of her book Main Street Vegan in 2012, she founded Main Street Vegan Academy, where she trains and certifies Vegan Lifestyle Coaches and Educators. Victoria is also certified as a life coach, a holistic health coach, and an RYT-200 registered yoga teacher, allowing her to craft transformative workshops and retreats on topics such as healthy living, aging well, Ayurveda, spirituality, and thriving as a vegan. Victoria hosts the Main Street Vegan Podcast, available on all major platforms, and the Main Street Vegan Salon, streaming on Unchained TV. She is a co-director of the Compassion Consortium, an interfaith spiritual center for animal advocates, and served as lead producer for the 2019 documentary A Prayer for Compassion. Additionally, she is the co-writer, alongside her husband William Melton, of Miss Liberty, a feature film currently in pre-production about a cow’s escape from a slaughterhouse and the human stories that unfold.
