On May 11th, 2023, Shelly Lucky Stein, died at age 81. A quintessential Brooklyn boy, he was a devoted husband of 55 years, a salesman, spoken word poet, health food store owner, NYC tour guide, and beloved yoga teacher.

In 1993, he opened “Lucky’s Juice Joint” in Soho. Often called the little oasis on the Isle of Manhattan, it was featured in all of the top NY magazines and attracted some of the most talented people in the area, both as patrons and employees.
