Daniel Devatman Givens received his Intergral Yoga 200-hour certification in Spring of 2019 and his personal trainer certification in 2010. As a visual and sound artist, writer, and performer, his creative work explores the intersection of spirituality and humanity. A dedicated Karma Yogi, he is often found cooking in the IYI kitchen, or serving as sound man for various events and Kirtans. His musical exploration expanded deeply once discovering the secular and sacred music of Turiya Alice Coltrane and more recently with his work with Larraji Nadabrahmananda. He is currently studying sound therapy with Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. He looks forward to offering the benefits of celestial sounds to the IYI community and beyond.

Program Description

Destress and unwind with sound healing therapy. It has been practiced for thousands of years to realign the body’s vibration, and improve mental health issues, and emotional well-being. This program may help stress and anxiety reduction by reaching deep meditative states.
The program revolves around crystal bowls, chimes, and other sounds to help with a deepened sense of meditation and relaxation. Billy begins by applying essential oils to be present in the moment, followed by light stretching to ease into relaxation. Students use bolsters and cushions to create a safe posture to lie on the floor. Then we journey into the guided meditative relaxation accompanied by crystal bowls, chimes, and other sound vibrations.
This is an in-person program.
