Program Description

Aug. 4, 11, 18, 25

As human beings, we live in an interconnected relationship with nature and our surroundings, no matter how disconnected we may sometimes feel. The wisdom of Ayurveda teaches that to maintain our sense of harmony and balance, our practice should flow along with the rhythm of the seasons. In summer, we can counteract the effects of heat, sun, longer days, and busy schedules by incorporating slow-moving and grounding practices like the poses we explore in Yin Yoga. As a calm and quiet practice, Yin offers a natural remedy for relieving excess heat, pacifying overactive constitutions, and alleviating symptoms of stress and burnout. We’ll also work with cooling breath and finish with guided deep relaxation. This soothing summer practice will keep you feeling calm, cool, and refreshed. Includes Yoga: All Levels

Sessions will be recorded, with recordings available to registrants for streamable viewing for one week following each live session.

This is an online program. You’ll need to download Zoom to attend. Please see your purchase confirmation for the Zoom link.
