DESCRIPTION:In the last few years there has been a sweeping movement of Adaptive practices to help bring the teachings of Yoga to all populations. The beautiful message to students is to “come as you are\,” and\, as teachers\, we want to be ready to serve them. The Adaptive Yoga Teacher Training course prepares you\, the teacher\, to adapt\, adjust\, and accommodate the traditional Yoga class so that students of any age\, shape\, ability\, or disability may enjoy the Hatha Yoga experience safely and comfortably. \nDuring the Open House\, you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of our trainers\, learn more about what makes Integral Yoga Adaptive Teacher Training so special\, and ask any questions you may have about the program.

SUMMARY:Teaching Yoga to Teens: Continuing Education for Teachers
DESCRIPTION:**This workshop is for certified IYI Teachers only** \nTeens may be a yoga teacher’s most challenging students. Body image issues\, rebellious anger\, social anxiety and often a deep resistance to physical activity are ripe for help from Yoga\, if you can get through. The rewards can be great for everyone. \nChandra\, who founded Integral Yoga’s Yoga At School™ program\, will offer the benefit of her years of experience and share a yoga practice suitable for the teenager in all of us. \nChandra/Jo Sgammato has taught Integral Yoga since 1999 and served for two decades on staff at IYI NY\, mostly as General Manager. She is currently IYI’s Program Director. \nThis is a virtual workshop\, taking place online. Registration is free for Integral Yoga Active teachers and $54 for Inactive Teachers.
