Recovering from Covid, with its common symptoms of weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, difficulty with walking and performing daily tasks, and the stress, fear, and depression which may follow, can impact physical and mental health. Exercises and practices which treat the whole person can play an important role in healing—and movement is an especially important tool in soothing and healing the body and mind. We will address key layers of movement that aid breathing, balance, sensory input, physical coordination, strength, and endurance—as well as ways to stay motivated to do just the right amount of daily practice during the isolation process and throughout recovery. Learn simple holistic practices and gentle, adapted Yoga that can be done in bed, in a chair, or standing, to support the different stages of physical and emotional recovery from Covid.
