Ayurveda, Integral Yoga, and the Art of Daily Life
Program Description
Ayurveda, Integral Yoga, and the Art of Daily Life
For many practitioners, yoga provides a sanctuary of peace, clarity, and balance. But what happens during the other twenty-three hours of the day? Ayurveda teaches that your daily choices—from how you begin your morning to how you eat, work, rest, and sleep—profoundly influence the effectiveness of your yoga practice and your capacity for health, longevity, and spiritual growth.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the Ayurvedic principles of dinacharya, or daily rhythm, and discover how simple, intentional practices create the foundation for resilience, vitality, and inner steadiness. Rather than adding more to your to-do list, Ayurveda invites you to live with greater awareness and alignment, allowing your entire day to become an extension of your yoga practice.
Together we’ll explore:
- Why daily rhythm is considered one of Ayurveda’s greatest medicines
- How simple lifestyle practices strengthen digestion (agni), energy, and resilience
- The relationship between routine, nervous system regulation, and longevity
- Practical ways to carry the benefits of your yoga practice into everyday life
This workshop is part of Yoga Beyond the Mat: Living the Wisdom of Ayurveda, a three-part workshop series in October, November, and December, with Cory Tixier, AD, AYT, LMT. Each workshop is designed to stand on its own—join us for one, two, or all three. Separate registration is required for each workshop.
Registered participants will receive a curated selection of optional resources to explore before the workshop, offering an opportunity to deepen their familiarity with the themes we’ll be discussing.
Continuing Education: Participants can apply 2.5 hours toward Yoga Alliance teacher credits.
