Integral Yoga is proud to partner with NYU Langone Medical Center’s Parent Education Department. These renowned and respected Integral Yoga offerings take place at NYU Medical Center’s facility at 660 First Avenue and East 38th Street.

Prenatal Yoga Classes

For women who have entered their second trimester of pregnancy. Movements and asanas strengthen and tone the muscles and organs. An emphasis is placed on soothing practices. Visualization and relaxation practices with the baby are included.

Yoga for Labor and Delivery Workshop

Use movement and positions, breath, and relaxation to support Mother Nature’s birthing process. Keeping the mind calm and free from fear allows the body to be able to give birth more easily. This information can be used in any setting. Sessions are for the expectant mother and her birthing partner.

Baby and Me Yoga Class

For mothers and newborns, 6 weeks to 12 months after birth. An hour of gentle stretching, chanting, and breathing help baby and caregiver relax and renew. Time for sharing and discussion are included. Prenatal Yoga experience is not a prerequisite.
